Construction worker dies after West Palm Beach hit-and-run
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – The construction worker who was left in critical condition after getting struck by a driver who then fled the scene passed away on Tuesday, WPTV said.
This collision happened at the North Congress Avenue and Executive Center Drive junction on Thursday, Dec. 21.
The man, 67-year-old man Louis Vixon, from Miami, was working on a construction project when he was hit by a suspect believed to have operated a dark-colored car.
After Vixon was hit, he then struck a construction worker. That employee was unharmed, while Vixon was sent to St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was issued a trauma alert and later passed away.
The hit-and-run driver has yet to be found.
