Woman killed in Martin County crash

MARTIN COUNTY, FL – A woman was killed and another person suffered critical injuries in a three-vehicle crash in Martin County on Tuesday, CBS 12 reports. 

The accident occurred on Bridge Road near 138th Street. It began when a driver crossed the center line and struck a pick-up truck hauling a trailer.

The pick-up truck then veered into oncoming traffic and hit a third vehicle head-on. The 47-year-old woman driving the third vehicle died at the scene.

The driver of the pick-up truck was critically injured in the crash. Further updates on his condition have not been made available.
