Woman from Jupiter fatally struck by vehicle while crossing US-1

MARTIN COUNTY, FL – A woman from Jupiter was killed when she was hit by a car in Martin County on Friday night, WPBF reports. 

The victim was attempting to cross US-1 in the area north of County Line Road, when she was fatally struck by a northbound vehicle around 7 p.m. on Friday.

The 51-year-old woman from Jupiter was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and two passengers in the vehicles were uninjured.

At this time it is unclear whether the driver will face charges.
