Woman, 50, fatally struck by driver in West Palm Beach
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A 50-year-old lost her life after she was struck by the driver of a 2019 Hyundai Sonata while sitting on a curb Saturday night.
The collision was reported before 11 p.m. near Broadway. CBS 12 said the Hyundai driver – a 22-year-old man – was driving south in an inside lane. He saw the woman – Michelle Anita Neville – and tried to avoid hitting her. However, the attempt was unsuccessful, and Neville was rushed to St. Mary’s Medical Center, where she died.
The man drove away from the scene but returned back to the crash site when he realized he struck Neville.
West Palm Beach Police discovered that both of Neville’s parents died. They said she may have family in North Carolina but have had no luck in locating any of them.
Anyone who may have information on Neville’s family is asked to contact police at the phone number located in the initial source.
