Woman, 39, loses life after car vs. pedestrian crash in Riviera Beach

RIVIERA BEACH, FL – A 39-year-old woman passed away at Bethesda East Hospital on Wednesday after a collision that happened last month.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office told CBS 12 that the woman, Julie Harley, was walking on Broadway Avenue when she was struck by a driver operating a 2023 Toyota Tundra. The driver pressed on her brakes, allowing the car to come to rest.

The uninjured female motorist remained at the scene, and no criminal charges seem to have been filed against her.

Harley was initially sent to St. Mary’s Medical Center but was later taken to Bethesda for further treatment.
