Van collides with motorcycle, claims life of teen in Sweetwater

SWEETWATER, FL – After a van collided with a motorcycle, the motorcyclist, who was only identified as a 17-year-old boy, succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene. 

Local 10 said this crash happened around 4 p.m. Monday in the vicinity of Northwest 112th Avenue and 20th Street. 

Miami-Dade Police have not been able to confirm the events leading up to this crash or specify who was at fault but said the van driver, a 29-year-old woman, stayed at the scene.
