U-turn leads to injury auto-motorcycle crash in West Palm Beach
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – One driver pursued a U-turn in front of an on-coming motorcycle, causing a crash that left the motorcyclist in serious condition Tuesday.
The collision took place around 8 p.m. on Australian Avenue near Okeechobee Boulevard, according to CBS 12.
West Palm Beach police confirmed that the motorcycle had very dim headlights, which affected the motorcyclist’s ability to see the road. Officers suspect the lack of visibility could have played a major part in the crash.
The motorcyclist is recovering at St. Mary’s Medical Center, while the other driver appears to have escaped injuries.
