Truck overturns in Port St. Lucie, claiming one life, injuring another
PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – A 72-year-old man driving a pickup truck crashed into a median and a tree, causing the truck to overturn and claiming his life and injuring his wife last Friday, Jan. 31.
The solo rollover collision happened before 9:45 a.m. on eastbound SE Village Green Drive, CBS 12 said. Port St. Lucie police and St. Lucie County Fire District responded to the scene. Once they arrived, pandemics rushed the man and his wife to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce.
The elderly man sustained fatal injuries, and his wife suffered non-life-threatening wounds.
Authorities identified the man as John Bradley but did not disclose his wife’s name.
Police are working to pinpoint why Bradley lost control of his black Toyota Tundra truck.
