Truck, motorcycle wreck in Miami sends person to hospital
MIAMI, FL – A motorcyclist was left in serious condition after crashing into a Nissan pickup truck waiting at a red light along Regal Kendall Village Friday.
NBC Miami said the collision occurred after 12:30 near the eastbound Kendall Drive and Southwest 125th Avenue junction.
Authorities said part of the motorcycle got wedged underneath the bike, but fire crews did not mention whether the motorcyclist themself got trapped under the truck and required extrication. Regardless, EMS was quick to pull up to the scene and take the biker to Kendall Regional Hospital, where they are recovering.
Florida Highway Patrol has launched an investigation. No other details are available at this time.
