Tri-Rail train fatally hits pedestrian in Pompano Beach 

POMPANO BEACH, FL – A pedestrian succumbed to fatal wounds after they were struck by a Tri-Rail train Thursday, WSVN said. 

The Broward County Sheriff’s Office said this collision occurred before 11 p.m. along the Northwest 13th Avenue and Doctor Martin Luther King Boulevard intersection. 

Deputies, along with the Pompano Beach Fire Rescue, confirmed the unidentified pedestrian passed away on site. 

No additional information has been posted at this time.
