Train fatally hits man near Roosevelt Elementary in West Palm Beach 

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A man passed away after he was hit by an Amtrak train while walking on railroad tracks near Roosevelt Elementary School Wednesday. 

WPTV said this collision happened before 8 p.m. The man was supposedly trespassing and walking on the tracks. After he was struck by the train, he was ejected about 1,000 feet and then finally came to rest. 

Police have not released other information at this time, including the man’s name.
