Tanker truck fire reported near Boynton Beach 

NEAR BOYNTON BEACH, FL – A driver of a tanker truck crashed on Hypoluxo Road overpass, leading the tanker to split open and catch fire before 6 a.m. Friday.

This collision happened north of Boynton Beach Boulevard, WPTV reported. Firefighters used a combination of foam and water to extinguish the flames from the truck, which had reportedly hauled 1,000 gallons of diesel fuel and 7,500 gallons of gasoline. 

The driver was unharmed. However, it is unclear if they were able to escape from their vehicle prior to the fire starting.
