SUV strikes four children at Royal Palm Beach bus stop

ROYAL PALM BEACH, FL – Four children were hospitalized in Royal Palm Beach on Tuesday morning after they were struck by an SUV, WPTV reports. 

The accident occurred at the intersection of Crestwood Boulevard South and Cypress Lake Avenue around 7 a.m. The SUV lost control as it drove north on Crestwood, mounted the sidewalk, and struck the children.

All four were taken to a local hospital. Further details on their condition are not available at this time.

It is unclear why the driver of the SUV lost control of their vehicle.
