SUV crashes into store, sends man to the hospital

MARTIN COUNTY, FL – A man was hospitalized in Martin County on Tuesday after an SUV crashed into the front of a convenience store, CBS Miami reports. 

The accident occurred on  Hutchinson Island at Plantation Pantry. The victim was walking out of the store when he was hit by an SUV that knocked him back through the store window. He suffered injuries from the broken glass and was taken to the hospital.

The 21-year-old woman driving the SUV is expected to face careless driving charges.
