Speeding teen biker dies in left-turn crash with Tesla in Westlake
WESTLAKE, FL – A male teenage motorcyclist, who was said to have gone at a high rate, collided with a car driver making a left turn, claiming the teenager’s life and hurting the driver.
WPBF said this collision, reported on Saturday, happened when the driver of the Tesla Model T turned left onto Town Center Parkway from Seminole Pratt Whitney Road and collided with the teen biker, operating a 2018 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said the teenager died at the scene, while medics rushed the Tesla driver, a 28-year-old man, to Trauma Hawk to St. Mary’s Medical Center for treatment of minor wounds.
