Skateboarder struck, killed by All County Ambulance

FORT PIERCE, FL – According to WPTV News, a 23-year-old male skateboarder died after being struck by a driver of an All County Ambulance on Sunday.

The crash was reported shortly after 8:00 p.m. on U.S. Highway 1. Authorities say an All County Ambulance was heading north on Highway 1 when a 23-year-old man on a skateboarder crossed in front of the vehicle, and crashed into him.

The skateboarder sustained serious injuries in the collision and was rushed to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, where he later died.
