Semi-truck driver killed in crash on I-95 in Delray Beach
DELRAY BEACH, FL – A three-vehicle collision on I-95 South claimed a semi-truck driver’s life Tuesday.
The crash was reported before 5:30 a.m. along Linton Boulevard, WPTV reported. Troopers said the driver of the Freightliner semi-truck rear-ended a 2014 Dodge Caravan. Then a driver of a 2020 Toyota Camry crashed into the semi’s trailer.
The Camry and Caravan driver was spared from injuries, while the semi-truck driver, a 50-year-old man from Boca Raton, died at the scene.
Three southbound lanes were blocked at the time of recording.
Drivers should use alternative routes.
