Riviera Beach police officer, struck by vehicle while helping stranded driver
RIVIERA BEACH, FL – A police officer from Riviera Beach was hospitalized on Wednesday after she was struck by a passing car, WPTV reports.
The officer had stopped to assist a driver who had become stranded on the Broadway Bridge when she was hit from behind by another car.
She was then rushed to St. Mary’s Medical Center with a broken leg.
