Plane crash claims lives of 2 men in West Broward Co. 

WEST BROWARD COUNTY, FL – A pilot and his passenger died after the pilot crashed his Cessna 172 Skyhawk plane along I-75 near the Everglades Wednesday. 

WSVN said the pilot departed from North Perry Airport around 6:30 a.m. and then crashed into a body of water 45 minutes later, near mile marker 27 and 28. 

The two people were declared dead at the scene around 11:18 a.m. The names of the two men have not been released.
