Pilot’s life claimed in plane crash in Vero Beach
VERO BEACH, FL – A pilot’s life was claimed when their glider-style plane descended from the sky and crashed north of New Hibiscus Airpark Friday.
This collision took place before 12:45 p.m. in the area of State Road 60 and 98th Avenue, according to CBS 12.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the circumstances behind this collision. The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office, whose deputies were among the authorities who also provided emergency response, said they are withholding the pilot’s name until their family is notified of the passing.
