Pembroke Pines crash leaves four injured
PEMBROKE PINES, FL – Four people were injured on Monday afternoon following an accident in Pembroke Pines, WSVN reports.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Sheridan Street and Dykes Road and involved a pickup truck and a landscaping truck.
The landscaping truck was parked on the side of the road when the pickup truck crashed into it. The driver of the pickup truck and three workers sustained injuries, none of which appear to be life-threatening.
One victim became trapped in their vehicle and required rescue. They were airlifted to Memorial Regional Hospital with serious injuries.
One other victim suffered serious injuries and two others sustained minor injuries.
Speed is suspected to be a factor in the crash and the pickup truck driver may be facing charges.
