Pedestrian killed in Port St. Lucie accident

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – A pedestrian was fatally killed in Port St. Lucie on Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle, WPTV reports. 

The accident occurred around 9 p.m. in the intersection of Village Green Drive and Walton Road.

The victim, a 45-year-old man, was attempting to cross the street when he was struck by a northbound Isuzu Rodeo. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

No information is available on the driver.
