Pedestrian killed in dump truck accident

Miami, FL – One person is dead after being struck by a dump truck on Northwest 12th Avenue in Miami on Monday morning.

According to Local 10, the crash occurred shortly after 11:00am in the Little Havana Neighborhood at the intersection of Northwest 12th Avenue and Seventh Street. The dump truck struck a women as the truck was turning. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported in the crash.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing. No further details are available at this time.
