One life claimed in Fort Pierce head-on wreck with trash truck 

FORT PIERCE, FL – A multi-vehicle head-on wreck involving a trash truck claimed the life of one person Monday, TC Palm reports. 

The three-vehicle crash took place at the intersection of North Kings Highway and St. Lucie Boulevard. St. Lucie County deputies and fire crews arrived at the scene before 3:15 p.m. 

First responders shut down the highway between Lucie Boulevard to Indrio Road temporarily for the scene clearance process.
