One killed in Hollywood hit-and-run

HOLLYWOOD, CA – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Hollywood on Wednesday morning, WSVN reports. 

The accident occurred around 6 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 441 and Sterling Road, near the Hollywood Hard Rock Casino and Hotel.

Details regarding the cause of the crash are not currently available. The victim was in the road when they were fatally struck. The driver then fled the scene.

Local police are investigating the incident.
