One injured after vehicle crashes into water

NORTH BAY VILLAGE, FL – One person was hospitalized after their car crashed into the bay in North Bay Village on Thursday, WSVN reports. 

The driver lost control of his vehicle and plunged into the water behind a building on 79th street.

A bystander helped the driver out of the vehicle and they were taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

The driver is believed to have been intoxicated at the time of the crash.
