One dead in crash involving unmarked police car in West Palm Beach

West Palm Beach, FL – One person is dead following a crash that involved an unmarked police car in West Palm Beach early Sunday morning.

According to CW34, the crash occurred around 1:30am on Okeechobee Boulevard when a vehicle carrying 3 people struck an unmarked police car. The three passengers and two police officers were taken to a local hospital. The passenger in the front seat of the vehicle died from their injuries. The other involved passengers sustained minor injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was unlicensed. An investigation into the crash is ongoing. No further information has been released at this time.
