Officials investigate truck wreck with Wawa sign in Pompano Beach
POMPANO BEACH, FL – Officials are working to pinpoint the details behind what led a driver of black pickup truck to plow into a Wawa gas station sign Monday morning.
The impact of this wreck (reported on North Andrews Avenue) left the truck with significant front-end damage, a major dent, and without a windshield as pieces of it can be seen scattered along the crash site, WSVN reports.
Since the investigation is in its early stages, authorities have not been able to say with certainty what caused the crash, if anyone was injured/hospitalized, or mention any citations or pending criminal charges.
Our team of news writers will circle back with updates as more details surface.
