Officer injured in sideswipe crash in Fort Lauderdale 

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – A driver sideswiped a Fort Lauderdale police car, leading the Fort Lauderdale officer to suffer a minor injury Monday. 

Floirda Highway Patrol told NBC Miami this collision happened on I-95 South along Sunrise Boulevard. 

After arriving, Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue took the officer to Broward Health Medical Center for treatment. 

Fort Lauderdale Police started an investigation and have not released other information.
