Multi-vehicle crash in Palm Beach County kills 68-year-old woman

PALM BEACH CO., FL – A woman was killed this morning when a vehicle she was a passenger in was involved in a multi-vehicle crash near Pine Air.

According to WPTV, the collision occurred on Haverhill Road near Sunny Lane Avenue shortly after 7 a.m.

Police say the driver of a Ford Tarus attempted to make the turn onto Sunny Lane Avenue when her vehicle was struck by an oncoming Mitsubishi Montero.

68-year-old Maria Tolento, a passenger in the Ford, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.

Two occupants of the Mitsubishi, including the driver, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
