Motorcyclist killed in wrong-way crash on SR-80 in Belle Glade
BELLE GLADE, FL – According to CBS12 News, a 52-year-old man was killed in a crash that took place on State Road 80 in Belle Glade on Wednesday.
Authorities say the accident took place shortly before 2:00 p.m. when a motorcyclist riding a 2005 Suzuki was heading west in the eastbound lanes and crashed into an eastbound 2018 Impala. The motorcyclist was thrown from his bike on impact and onto the roof of the Impala before landing on the ground.
The motorcyclist was killed in the collision and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Impala was uninjured.
