Motorcyclist killed in Hialeah hit-and-run

HIALEAH, FL – A 36-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Hialeah on Tuesday night, WSVN reports. 

The victim was an employee at Hialeah Hospital and was riding his motorcycle home from work when he was hit. The accident occurred on LeJeune Road, near 21st Street around 9:30 p.m.

A dark-colored SUV hit the motorcycle and then fled the scene. Another driver came by the scene later and called 911. The victim was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.

Police are currently searching for the driver.
