Motorcyclist killed in Greenacres by car making illegal U-turn

GREENACRES, FL – A man was killed in Greenacres on Friday when a car made an illegal U-turn in front of him, CBS 12 reports. 

The accident occurred at the intersection of Lake Worth Road and Empire Way on Friday morning. A 47-year-old man was riding east on his motorcycle when a westbound vehicle attempted an illegal U-turn in front of him.

The victim struck the car’s rear bumper, throwing him off the motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet and was killed at the scene.

Local police are asking any witnesses to the crash to come forward with information.
