Motorcyclist killed in crash on SW Allapattah Rd

MARTIN COUNTY, FL – WPTV5 News reports that a 69-year-old woman was killed in a motorycycle crash that took place on Southwest Allapattah Road on Thursday.

Authorities say the accident took place shortly after 11:00 a.m. just south of Martin Highway when the motorcyclist was heading northbound on Southwest Allapattah Road, veered off the road, and crashed her bike into a canal.

The motorcyclist was killed in the accident and pronounced dead at the scene.
