Motorcyclist killed in 3-vehicle crash in Boca Raton
BOCA RATON, FL – A motorcyclist was killed Saturday night in a collision involving three vehicles near I-95 in Boca Raton.
According to Boca News Now, the collision occurred at about 8 p.m. as the motorcyclist and a Toyota Camry were heading west on Yamato Road near 5th Avenue.
Police say the driver of a westbound Toyota pickup truck attempted to turn left onto 5th Ave. and collided with the motorcyclist, throwing him into the westbound lanes of the roadway. The Camry then slammed into the pickup.
The motorcyclist was taken to nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The other two drivers were unhurt.
It is unclear if any charges will be filed in connection to the fatal crash.
