Minor injuries reported in FL’s Turnpike box truck crash in Miami

MIAMI, FL – A moving box truck struck a disabled box truck, causing furniture from one of the vehicles to fall out and leaving at least one person with minor injuries Wednesday.

WSVN said the collision took place on Florida’s Turnpike South near Northwest 199th Street, which is along Hardrock Stadium.

Florida Highway Patrol and State DoT workers were summoned to the scene. Troopers arrived to find that the disabled truck flipped over after getting struck by the other truck.

Officials closed all of the southbound lanes for the scene clearance process and reopened all of them later in the day.
