Medical episode leads to crash at Miami-Opa Locka Airport 

MIAMI GARDENS, FL – A man experienced a diabetic episode, leading him to lose control of his pickup truck and plow through a Miami-Opa Locka Exec. Airport fence Monday. 

The collision happened in the area of Northwest 47th Avenue and Northwest 156th Street, according to WSVN. EMS took the man to a hospital as a precaution. The man’s wife, who was a passenger, appeared to have been unharmed. 

Airport operations were not affected.
