Man killed after Fort Lauderdale hit-and-run
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – A man was killed after being struck by a hit-and-run driver as he stood next to his car in Fort Lauderdale, WSVN reports.
The accident occurred on June 30th at the intersection of Northwest 25th Avenue and Franklin Park Drive. The victim was in a fender bender with another vehicle and got out of his car to assess the damage.
While he was standing outside of his car, he was struck by a driver in a Chevy Malibu. The victim was hospitalizied but eventually succummbed to his injuries on July 21st.
Police are still searching for the driver of the Malibu.
