Man hospitalized after Brightline train crashes into vehicle in Hallandale Beach

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – One person was rushed to the hospital after a vehicle was hit by a train in the Hallandale Beach area on Monday.

According to CBS Miami, the vehicle was struck by a Brightline train on Southwest 11th Street near the Dixie Highway.

An unidentified man was taken to a local hospital as a trauma alert. His role in the crash is unclear at this time.

Investigators are working to establish an official cause of the incident at this time.
