Man, 87, hospitalized after crash with canal in Port St. Lucie 

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – An 87-year-old man was hospitalized after crashing into a canal bank in the area of 788 Southeast Becker Road around 11:30 p.m. Friday. 

Officers rushed to the scene and discovered that the driver’s vehicle was about to ‘roll on top of him,’ WPTV revealed. First responders were able to rescue the man and took him to a hospital, where he is now in stable condition. 

The exact cause of this collision is not immediately known.
