Man, 51, fatally hit by woman who ran red light in West Palm Beach 

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A 64-year-old woman driving a 2006 Hummer H3 ran a red light and hit a Mustang car driven by a 51-year-old man, leading to his death last Tuesday. 

CBS 12 said this collision happened after 11 p.m. when the Mustang driver proceeded through a green light on Belvedere Road and was hit by the Hummer.

The 51-year-old man, who was identified as Charlie Gilbert Jr., succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene. First responders said the woman was hospitalized for minor wounds. 

The woman, whose name was not disclosed, was said to have been recovering at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She is expected to receive charges for her involvement in this crash.
