Man, 46, fatally struck by vehicles in Lake Worth Beach

LAKE WORTH BEACH, FL – A 46-year-old man was crossing the southbound lanes of 10th Avenue North when he was fatally hit by two vehicles Friday.

CBS 12 said The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 2201th block before 9:45 p.m.

Preliminary details suggested that the pedestrian was first struck by a pickup truck. This driver tried to avoid hitting the man but was unable to avoid a crash. The man, John Branco, was thrown to the ground after getting hit by the truck. Branco remained lying on the road and then was struck by a second vehicle. He died on impact, deputies said.
