Man, 18, loses life in rear-end motorcycle wreck near West Palm Beach
NEAR WEST PALM BEACH, FL – An 18-year-old man operating a 2016 Kawasaki Ninja lost his life after he failed to reduce his speed and rear-ended another motorcycle Monday.
This two-motorcycle collision occurred before 2:15 a.m. in the 5700 block of Belvedere Road. WPTV said the events of the crash unfolded when the other motorcycle operator, a 20-year-old adult, had drastically reduced their speed as they traveled in an outside lane. That’s when the 18-year-old, who was identified as Ismael Tancher Ajiquichi, struck the back of the other bike, a 2017 Kawasaki Ninja.
The 20-year-old adult was hospitalized at St. Mary’s Medical Center for minor wounds, while Ajiquichi succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene.
