Male cyclist seriously injured in crash in Boca Raton 

BOCA RATON, FL – A man riding a bicycle had to go to the hospital for serious injuries after he was run over by a vehicle Thursday. 

This collision happened after 7 a.m. in the 600th block of eastbound West Glades Road, according to WPTV. First responders confirmed the cyclist was in life-threatening condition and said the driver stayed at the scene. Law enforcement has not arrested the motorist. 

Officials shut down the area for two hours and reopened the area after 9 a.m.
