Jupiter accident leaves pedestrian dead

JUPITER, FL – A pedestrian was killed in Jupiter after a hit-and-run crash on Sunday night, according to WPTV. 

The accident occurred in the southbound lanes of Alternate A1A near Indiantown Road. The victim was struck by an unknown vehicle around 11:50 p.m. The driver then fled the scene.

The victim, a man who has not yet been identified, was rushed to St. Mary’s Medical Center, where he later passed away.

Police are currently searching for the driver invovled.
