Jackknifed big rig closes part of southbound Florida’s Turnpike in West Palm Beach
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A tractor-trailer jackknifed early last Thursday afternoon on the Florida’s Turnpike in West Palm Beach, according to TotalTraffic WPB.
The collision happened on the southbound lanes of the turnpike between Bee Line Highway and Okeechobee Boulevard, near the city’s Water Catchment area. It was first reported before 5:26 p.m.
Local authorities did not immediately specify the cause of the wreck, but motorists were advised to exit at Bee Line Highway and take Jog Road, Military Trail, or Interstate 95 as an alternate route.

It’s unclear whether another vehicle contributed to the wreck, and no related injuries have been confirmed.
