Hit-and-run in West Palm Beach puts cyclist in critical condition 

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A cyclist is currently in critical condition following a hit-and-run crash that happened on Saturday. 

This collision occurred around 9 p.m. in the 1100th block of 45th Street near East Avenue, according to CBS 12. The cyclist, an unidentified 60-year-old man, was found by a passerby, who dialed 911. After ambulance crews arrived, they rushed him to St. Mary’s Trauma Center. 

West Palm Beach Police Department (WPBPD) launched an investigation. Preliminary details suggest the fleeing motorist traveled east on 45th Street when they rear-ended the cyclist. 

Police are searching for the suspect’s vehicle and urge the public to contact the police department if they have any information on the suspect, their whereabouts, or more details regarding Saturday’s hit-and-run.
