Hit-and-run in Miami sends male pedestrian to hospital 

MIAMI, FL – A man walking near Northwest 12th Avenue and 45th Street was hospitalized after he was hit by a driver who fled the scene Sunday. 

Miami police told Local 10 that this collision happened before 11:30 p.m. After arriving, officers took the pedestrian to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where he is recovering. 

Police have not provided additional commentary with respect to this hit-and-run, including providing the name of the suspect or their vehicle.
