Hit-and-run driver fatally hits 73-year-old woman in South Palm Beach 

SOUTH PALM BEACH, FL – A 73-year-old woman crossing the 3500 block of S Ocean Boulevard died after she was hit by a driver who then fled the scene on Friday. 

This collision happened after 6 p.m. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office told WPTV that the suspect was said to have driven a black 2016 to 2017 GMC Terrain, which had sustained front-end damage. The driver was last seen going north on Ocean Blvd. 

The woman, who was identified as Hatixhe Laiqi of South Palm Beach, was declared dead at the scene.
