High school student dies after being hit by car at bus stop

ROYAL PALM BEACH, FL – A 15-year-old girl died on Wednesday after being struck by a car at a Royal Palm Beach bus stop, CW 34 reports.

The girl was one of four children who were hit by an out-of-control SUV while waiting for a bus at Crestwood Boulevard South and Cypress Lake Avenue. She was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.

The other three victims are all teenage boys. One of them remains in critical condition.

The driver was a 57-year-old man from Royal Palm Beach. He suffered only minor injuries and is expected to face charges.
